We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us enter and scale up our business in the UK. You will be at the forefront of the company with a goal to create and apply an effective sales strategy.
Responsibilities
Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Building and managing a pipeline of leads
Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
Seek and apply for funding to carry out R&D activities
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ interests
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
Maintain records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
National travel to represent the company at events and conferences
Build and lead a successful team
Requirements
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
Proven sales track record
ICT background and a clear understanding of the IT industry
Experience in customer support is a plus
Self-motivation with a tenacious attitude and politely assertive style
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Proficiency in English
Market knowledge
Communication and negotiation skills
Time management and planning skills
BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
